1925, when Art Déco dazzled the World
With its powerful geometric lines, Art Déco style stands out thanks to its lively appeal. The exhibition has been set up as a suite of sequences on themes striving to illustrate what lies behind Art Déco’s international success and its influence in various forms of artistic expression, as architects Henri Sauvage, Robert Mallet-Stevens, Roger-Henri Expert, designers André Véra, Louis Süe, André Mare, fashion designers Paul Poiret and Jean Patou and sculptors Martel, Janniot and Sarrabezolles, it is the product of a vision shared by various artistic spheres.

Pixar Exhibition Paris
25 Years of Animation
The Pixar exhibition immerses the amazed viewer at the heart of the creation process of works by the American animation studio that are, among others, the movies Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille or Wall-e.
From research drawings to sculptures that allowed the modeling of the animated heroes, and graphic studies of the characters, the creation of the sets and storyboards.
In addition, the exhibition presents the funny and spectacular zoetrope of 'Toy Story', a major technical achievement made up of 150 characters modeled in rotation in order to create the illusion of movement.

The Paris beach festival
The Paris Plage has become an institutionn during 30 days, the Seine and the lakeside at la Villette basin are transformed into a unique beach resort with tons of sand, deck chairs, beach umbrellas, hammocks and palm trees.
Paris Plages is a chance for visitors to see Paris in a whole new light. People come along to have fun or relax, to play pétanque, do their tai chi, jump on the trampoline or play some badminton. You can even attend classes for ballroom dancing or tropical dance. Meanwhile, children are ably catered for with the many playgroups that are organised. And at nightfall, the many nocturnal events take over.
