In their discreetly luxurious surroundings, with spellbinding views of the Eiffel Tower, and in the quiet of the interior courtyard, elegance combines with history to create one of the most romantic hotel experiences that Paris has to offer.

Two of the suites, named in affectionate tribute to illustrious former occupants, represent the chic and much chronicled Paris of a France that lay at the centre of the civilised world. Everything here is testimony to the attention devoted to colour, from the drape of the curtains to the harmonious choice of the silken fabrics covering the king-size beds.

Since 2006, bed canopies have taken on a range of unusual colours – aniseed, turquoise, raspberry pink and saffron – rich hues that help you sleep all the sounder! Each room is carefully proportioned to create the peaceful ambience of a private apartment. When you leave, it’s as if you were leaving your own home. Separated by a mobile partition, with ultra-comfortable bedroom and velvet-clad lounge on one side, the room that accommodates your luggage, your history or your loved ones is filled with the golden relics of a bygone Empire cunningly revisited.
